Will You Register for Automated Trading Championship 2010?

MetaQuotes, the company that develops the MetaTrader series of the trading platforms, announced that the registration for their Automated Trading Championship 2010 will start tomorrow, June 1, 2010. That’s one month earlier than usually and it will last until September 22nd and the contest will probably start on October 1 as usually.
MQL’s automated contests for the MetaTrader EAs are a great opportunity for the coders and traders to test their Forex expert advisors in near-real conditions and earn real prizes (which are rather big). This year it will be held only for the MT5 expert advisors (the ones written in MQL5) and the MT4 EAs (old ones) won’t be allowed to participate. That’s a huge blow to the coders that still haven’t switched from MT4 to MT5 and there is a high probability that the participating EAs will still be rather weak and bug-ridden.
Anyway, it’s a good (and free) chance for everyone to try their skills in both Forex and MQL coding, so I’ll be there for sure. And how about you?

By the way, the official site for the championship will probably soon appear at http://championship.mql5.com/ but it’s not ready yet.
