I have not written about cTrader for quite some time now. That was mostly because I have stopped using it due to its poor compatibility with my PC configuration. However now, when it is finally fixed, I would like to update you on the new interesting features that have been added to cTrader since the last time I had posted about the platform. Here is the list of the most exciting features implemented by Spotware:
Accounts maximum and minimum equity can now be seen in the performance tab.
Trade parameters can now be saved and loaded for easier trade modification.
Added alert for notification when a trade is placed without stop-loss.
Added quick trade buttons for reversing, doubling and assigning advanced protection (partial SL/TP) for a position.
Added new color scheme (bright black and white) for the whole cTrader window.
Added new timeframes: M7, M8, M9, M45, H2, H3, H6, H8, D2 and D3.
Trading workspaces can now be saved to cloud storage to be restored from any other device.
Additional trading statistics is now available for each position.
It is now possible to modify the volume of pending orders.
Added support for email alerts.
Links menu added with links to Spotware’s and partners’ resources related to cTrader.
Added smart stop-out — now the trade with the highest used margin will be closed first (compared to the one with the biggest loss before).
cTrader and cAlgo can now be integrated with Microsoft Visual Studio.
Added optimization of cBots (brute force and genetic algorithms).
Added possibility backtest on tick data.
Added RefreshData() function to get the latest rates and account info.
Added Account.Number and Account.BrokerName properties to get detailed information about account.
History of trades can now be accessed from the code of cBots and indicators.
As you can see, the list is pretty impressive considering the fact that all those new features have been added during the period of 8 months. As a trader, I still prefer MetaTrader, but, as a smart trader, I see a lot of potential in an alternative software in this oligopolistic market.
