Detrended Price Oscillator is the latest free technical indicator that was uploaded to EarnForex.com. Like its name suggests, DPO is an oscillator that shows the changes of price direction. The “detrended” part stands for being able to produce signals even when the small changes in the trend are in effect. The MT4 version is very simple and does everything just fine. Although MT5 has its own DPO indicator (inside the Examples folder), it doesn’t work as the original Detrended Price Oscillator should (moving average isn’t shifted properly there). That’s why I also make this indicator available for MT5 too. This indicator has three important features:
