Forex Brokers Update — January 19th, 2013

Today, I present the first addition to the Forex broker listings in 2013:
Gainsy — an offshore Forex company, which offers STP and ECN account types. While the former can be opened with $10, the latter is available only for traders with $100,000 or more. They provide services via the proprietary Gainsy Platform, which has both web and mobile interfaces. Leverage is capped at 1:500.

Additionally, there were the following changes to the existing brokers’ descriptions:

  • Global Futures now accepts Moneybookers (Skrill), supports accounts in Hong Kong dollar, Mexican peso, New Zealand dollar, Norwegian krone, South African rand and Swedish krona and offers customer service in Tagalog, Vietnamese, Czech and Armenian. They also started offering MAM, LAMM and segregated accounts, along with free education and VPS to their traders. Multiple new trading account types have been introduced.
  • RoboForex no longer offers PowerTrader platform.
  • RobustFX no longer has office in Canada.
  • Nova Tradex ceased operating as a broker.
  • ICM Capital opens office in Singapore and starts offering support in Greek and German languages. Now allows scalping in its Standard account type and reduced margin call level to 0 there.
