Currently, the MQL community members and the users of MetaTrader 4 and 5 can buy and sell all sorts of programs written in MQL4 and MQL5, buy and sell trading signals, buy and sell various freelance services, and buy books and magazines. The whole market caters to a wide range of traders — from complete newbies (who will probably buy signals and books for beginners) to experienced traders (who buy magazines, useful indicators and computing power for EA optimization, and might also try to sell their own signals), to professional coders (who can earn decent living by creating EAs, indicators or scripts).
I personally, have tried only two services: buying computing power for optimization of my expert advisor on MQL Cloud Network and hiring a help to code an expert advisor based on Commitment of Traders reports. In both cases, I was fairly satisfied with what I have got, so the whole idea of offering such additional services to MetaTrader customers seems to be working well, at least for me.
