Forex Brokers Update — July 13th, 2014

Two new brokers have been added during this update:
zebrafx — an offshore company, which claims to have offices in such countries as the USA, the UK, and Cyprus, but is not regulated there. This broker offers two types of accounts — both ECN (as they say). Both account types offer only one trading platform (MetaTrader 4) and require only $5 to start trading. Maximum leverage is set to 1:200 for currency trading.

Liga Forex — a broker built like a social network. They only offer a web trading application with fixed 1:100 leverage and $100 minimum. The platform’s functionality is rather limited (no demo account, for example), but its main feature is being able to share your trades and follow the trades of other members. It is somewhat similar to eToro in this matter.

Some other brokers’ listings have been changed in this update:

  • xCFD added affiliate program.
  • Kalita-Finance now accepts US traders. No longer accepts deposits via RBK Money, ESGP, IntellectMoney, Pinpay Express, and Unikassa. Offers trading via phone and segregated accounts. Customer support is no longer available in Ukrainian or Czech languages. It is now necessary to send signed documents via common mail to finalize account opening. Implemented a totally new account system with lower minimum account sizes.
  • FXVV was removed from the list of brokers.
  • Vector Securities added EgoPay and OKPAY in place of PayPal and QIWI payment systems.
  • Capital One Forex dropped support for Ukash. Added wire transfer, Payza, Perfect Money, EgoPay, and FasaPay instead. Raised minimum account size from $25 to $100.
  • NatureForex increased minimum account size from $10 to $20.
